Eliza Broussard had been taken in by the Red Room Academy at the peak age of five years old. She was trained and hardened into the Soviet's own skillful assassin by the age of fifteen. After ten years of brainwashing and training, she was discovered by Natasha Romanoff and taken from the program and straight to The Avengers' headquarters. 
Eliza was untrusting and soured by her past. She was thrusted into the world of Super Heroes and Villains right when the Heroes were fighting each other. She didn't know whose side she was on, or if she even had a side to take. It wasn't until she met Peter Parker, the quirky, socially awkward web-slinger, that she finally started to understand where her loyalties were.
