In 2396 Lyra, an aspiring engineer, and thief must fight to survive while repairing the Romulus, that has been taken over by a Deiax which is a tiny alien parasite that is capable of infecting the brain, and control it's host. In the meantime, she must ensure her brother and sister aren't executed just for being alive. The number one rule of the Councilmen of the Colony: Only one male and female child per family child per family. Will she get home in time? Will she survive? Is the human race at risk of extinction?
