After a traumatic event, a normal boy turns into something twisted in this classic story of pain giving birth to killing. The Trail Hunter has been hunting his victims across the US for the last five years, but everything changes when he starts his ritual in Savannah, Georgia. After coming face-to-face with the private detective that's been hunting him, he decides to play a sick game with him and taunts him and the FBI for never being able to even come up with a suspect. All while this is happening, the detective is slowly descending into madness following his fool's chase of this ghost serial killer along with his wife's death. A story built around the killer, with characters with their own storylines, the plot is more than meets the eye and the ending will leave you reeling. Because after all, if there's no beauty in death, what's the point of living?
