Adela Hawthorne is one of the 50 girls chosen to appear at court to compete for the prince's favor. A farm girl from Wisconsin, Adela has no interest in venturing to court, let alone in the prince himself. She would much rather stay at home with her pigs and her family. She only applied for the fun of it. Until her and her best friend become two of the Selected. Until Prince Theodore Sutherland stumbles into her room. *This is inspired by a series by Kiara Cass titled The Selection, all credit that is due goes to her. All the characters and the main part of the plot are mine but the concept of a Selection comes from her story! I did not come up with the entire idea on my own!*

Fae Dick thought when the Selection of Prince Asher was announced that she should enter. She knew her family wouldn't be too thrilled at the prospect, but Fae was always known to do things spontaneously, and she was looking to get more out of her antique appraisaled, auctioneer, career driven life. She wasn't sure what it was, but entering the Selection was a gut decision she knew she couldn't pass up. And so she entered. And got in. She didn't know what to expect when she arrived. With everything she knew about the royal family, she knew it could never prepare her for real life interactions with them, especially not Prince Asher. She knew she had set her hopes up too high when she thought of him, especially when she found out he was an arrogant jerk who treated her with polite coldness upon their first meeting. As the Selection continued on, there were more questions Fae found herself asking about the Prince, things not even the whole of Illéa knew about him, making her even question her decision to enter. But she knew she entered for a chance at something else, and a cold-hearted, mysterious prince wasn't going to take that away from her. based on the series "The Selection" by Kiera Cass
