After tragedy strikes the life of a male, green Sorcerant dragon named Emeraldus, he and his mate Midna are then subject to quite the twist of fate. 
Soon following the exciting news that the two would soon become parents, enemy dragons attack, sending Emeraldus down a steep and weary path. 
Taking on a darker approach with his magic, Emeraldus attempts to change what had been tarnished. After mastering the art of necromancy, and with the assistance of his newfound dragon companion, Emeraldus gives light to a whole new generation of dragons, as well as changing his own being forever.
