Poems

Poems that are like a roller coaster. Your life is up and down, all around and you can't breathe, so I write. Because there's no where/way else I can express my feelings without simply lashing out on someone. Things get rough, but I am living proof that life does get better. If you're young or older, you have so much ahead of you that you have no idea. By putting my mind to it, I was able to graduate high school in nine months at the age of sixteen, I've also been given the pleasure of enjoying the simple things in life. Like the sunrise, the birds, the clouds in the sky, and my favorite, the stars in the night sky. I enjoy life much more realizing that life hasn't given up on you, and if you're not dead, you haven't given up on yourself. So keep trying because as lovely as sleeping forever sounds, you were born from a tiny embryo that grew into a living, breathing, beautiful human being and that is not a mistake. A mistake is adding salt to your cookies instead of sugar. Please enjoy.
