You always had a keen sense of speed. No doubt, you were faster than most at the academy.
If you were judged on only speed, Sasuke would have to say goodbye to his first place spot. You easily surpassed him in that field.
Your eyes caught things faster than most, allowing you to memorize and overcome most challenges. Coming from a grandfather who was a decent of the Black Lotus, it was to be expected.
Black Lotus: a tribe bred with pitch black eyes. Descendants from said tribe are known to have eyes that can see far and wide, zoom in and out, and see at speeds barely possible to the Sharigan.
You were lucky to see as well as you did, it helped you catch on to your opponents techniques seconds after it happened.
But, you couldn't just rely on your eyes.
There were times where your body just couldn't keep up, you reflexes were no match for your sight.
That's where your chakra came in.
You could focus it in a way to boost your adrenaline, to keep you up to speed. It wore you out, sure, but it kept you in a safe spot in the rankings - the ones made by the class, of course.
You preferred not to use jutsu; you liked feeling the power when it swirled within you, but you stayed to your old ways.
Taijutsu: any combat skill, technique or system of martial art using body movements that are described as an empty-hand combat skill or system.
That was your main jutsu.
Of course, being trained in the academy, you had to learn other types that could potentially save your life. You learned them well, but that didn't mean you used them often.
"When it's needed," you often said, "Then I'll use it."
Akina Uchiha, the little sister of Itachi Uchiha, was known for her open and cheerful nature. There was hardly anyone in the Uchiha clan who behaved like that and that's why everyone liked this little girl.
But one thing was hidden from the whole clan and from the Hokagen. Akina had awakened her Sharingan already as a small child although such a thing was hardly possible. Because of her fear that something could happen, her father decided to keep it a secret and train her.
When the Uchiha entered the academy, she had to learn to get along with other children who did not belong to her clan. Besides her abilities, there was one more in the class who could be her equal. Neji Hyuga who was already a professional at his young age.
His little cousin had to be about the age of Sasuke who would soon be big enough to go to the academy. Even though Akina had heard many things about the Hyuga clan, she did not want Neji to hate the main family. In the beginning he was a nice boy who smiled from time to time. But one day he changed completely and didn't even want to have anything to do with Akina. Although Akina could put a smile on everyone's face, it became more and more difficult for the Hyuga. He closed himself off more and more and would soon make a mistake if no one stopped him at the Chunin exam.
After years, not even her best friends knew that she had her Mangekyou Sharingan for the longest time. Only when they became a team again did they learn what had really happened that day. She never lost her smile and her joy. However, her manner crumbled now and then, which Akina quickly regained. Always sworn never to use her Mangekyou Sharingan, the Fourth World War made her use it.
Will Akina lose her sight after all, or were her eyes different from what she thought?
