You always had a keen sense of speed. No doubt, you were faster than most at the academy. If you were judged on only speed, Sasuke would have to say goodbye to his first place spot. You easily surpassed him in that field. Your eyes caught things faster than most, allowing you to memorize and overcome most challenges. Coming from a grandfather who was a decent of the Black Lotus, it was to be expected. Black Lotus: a tribe bred with pitch black eyes. Descendants from said tribe are known to have eyes that can see far and wide, zoom in and out, and see at speeds barely possible to the Sharigan. You were lucky to see as well as you did, it helped you catch on to your opponents techniques seconds after it happened. But, you couldn't just rely on your eyes. There were times where your body just couldn't keep up, you reflexes were no match for your sight. That's where your chakra came in. You could focus it in a way to boost your adrenaline, to keep you up to speed. It wore you out, sure, but it kept you in a safe spot in the rankings - the ones made by the class, of course. You preferred not to use jutsu; you liked feeling the power when it swirled within you, but you stayed to your old ways. Taijutsu: any combat skill, technique or system of martial art using body movements that are described as an empty-hand combat skill or system. That was your main jutsu. Of course, being trained in the academy, you had to learn other types that could potentially save your life. You learned them well, but that didn't mean you used them often. "When it's needed," you often said, "Then I'll use it."

"The world is grey, it's simple, nothing can be trusted. For a child like me, who can I trust in this place with everything trying to take my life? That grey tree, it could fall on me, this grey building I hide in, it could collapse on me. Nothing is bright because everything is grey. People are the greyest of them all. That's how life is when no one can show you color. The two lifeless bodies who once shown brightly to me, they too are now grey. The two who showed me the world with colorful books are now cold and lifeless, blending with the grey. I too, would be joining them, eventually that is. I, who was never colorful, will be going to where color shall show. At least, that's what I hoped for. I saw the colors of the sky, but it was all a ruse of false hope. The world was grey again, and I was stuck drowning in it once again." When a child turns into a girl, the colors show. All it took was being happy with life and enjoying what you had. That was something a child couldn't understand like a girl could. When one who has had nothing gains something, they understand. A girl who lost her two colors in the world, understood why color existed. It wasn't because the world is out for you at all times. It's because the one who is most untrustworthy is yourself. The girl learned after she gained her colors. She couldn't see her colors because she couldn't understand what she was missing. It's not that she was missing anything, it was that she was always concerned about what she was missing. In other words, you can only see color if you can gather the courage to stop doubting why you exist. That's exactly what the girl learned after so long. Years of her own self-loathing curiosity were only holding her back. A child who couldn't understand what anything meant, now a girl who can forget that and start living her own life with her own choices. That's the life of Rizuka Kyoyin, the Sightless Silver. {Mary Sue Warning} ~Book One of the Silver Series~ -Love Kimi
