Some stories are long and hard and heartbreaking, like the ones where the kids have a loved one that died or something, and they have that one person that helps them through the trauma and turns their life into something worth living. Some stories are too short, with a long lasting mark on your heart, and those are the ones that have you bawling your eyes out at three in the morning, trying to keep quiet so that no one hears you. And then there are the stories that are somehow a combination of all three, stories that include laughter, crying, heartbreak, pain, and happiness all at once. My story is one of those.
