Genevieve Fiordalis had quickly learnt to expect misfortune to follow her in life, though it didn't make her losses much easier to endure.

She is faced with the consequences of Voldemort's return and the part that she must play in it, left to wonder if the fate of the wizarding world could really be left in the hands of a fifteen year old.

And when she isn't facing The Dark Lord, Gene is forced to confront something much, much scarier: the very daunting realisation that her love might remain unrequited forever.

The Unsung Hero- a Hermione Granger fanfiction by jensengering
7 parts Ongoing
--------------------------------------- After the epic Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione Granger, determined to honour her fallen friends and finish her education, convinces Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley to complete their seventh year at Hogwarts. Ginny Weasley, now celebrated as Harry's girlfriend, enjoys a newfound spotlight, though it casts a long shadow over her own achievements. As Harry basks in his fame, he becomes increasingly arrogant, basking in the adoration that comes with being a hero. The couple's famous status draws them further away from Ron, Hermione, and their old friends. Hermione, feeling unappreciated and neglected, begins to act erratically. Her once-steadfast determination drops. Fred Weasley notices her strange behaviour and steps in to offer support. As they spend more time together, a bond forms between them, evolving into a deep and unexpected romance. This newfound connection leads to Ron's realisation of his failures to be a good significant other to Hermione, resulting in a painful breakup with her- which Hermione doesn't take so well. As tensions escalate, a dramatic confrontation in the Hogwarts corridors leads to a final rift between Harry, Ginny, and their former friends. In the aftermath, Hermione, who once stood as the pillar of strength for the group, becomes an afterthought. Her critical role in saving the wizarding world fades into the background, overshadowed by the fame and drama that engulf her former friends. Thus, Hermione Granger, the true unsung hero, is forgotten-a silent testament to the sacrifices she made for the world that failed to remember her. ---------------------------------------- Warning!- Fred Weasley is alive in this book! This book will be kept to the minimum of bloodshed and gore and will mimic the cheery and bright atmosphere of the first Harry Potter book, minus the bad things. Told in Hermione's perspective, with the occasional someone else's POV.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Harry and Olivia Potter. Last year, mysteriously entered into the Triwizard Tournament, fighting for their lives, the ups and downs of friendship, life threatening situations, and finally the uprising, once again, of Lord Voldemort. Their nightmares have been plaguing them more and more as of recent days since Voldemort's return, making them even gloomier than before. On top of new found anger issues, between each other and others. The growing threat of Voldemort weighs heavily on their minds, making them feel more alone than ever. You thought last year was bad with the news, Harry and Olivia being made out to be liars? Well, this year, it's much worse. As the grasp of darkness tightens, Harry and Olivia have to discover the depth and strength of siblinghood, friendship, and boundless loyalty. Last we caught of Ron and Olivia, their budding romance seemed to be finally heading as a step in the right direction after a hard year. But as new threats arise, Olivia finds herself more confused then ever, on top of trying to control everything going wrong with her and her brother. Will Ron and Olivia finally express their feelings and get together? Or will everything crumble around them, keeping them apart? This is a slow burn Ron Weasley Love Story. I only own my character Olivia Potter and her addition to the story. This is the fifth book in the series with much more romance with Ron. All right to the Harry Potter franchise belongs to J. K Rowling. This book follows mostly the movie storylines which I also do not own. They belong to W.B Studios and Universal. There are some original scenes and added book scenes as well. *** story is not yet completed. Marking complete so it doesn't get deleted. Hoping to return to writing this story soon. Sorry guys!
