After over a millennia of peace, a new era threatens the lives of countless humans and Pokémon alike. Weakened from the years spent saving the Earth prior to this destruction, the mythical Pokémon Mew can not work alone this time. With the help of seven seemingly average Pokémon, they will face hardships, and regret as they fight to keep the world safe from this taunting threat.

After this success Giovanni declared the Viridian Empire and began a military build up to take over the rest of the world. Giovanni and Team Rocket will have to weather the new challenges that this new world brings.
