I had not seen her in years. Almost eight years to be exact. She had left without a word. No goodbye. No explanation. She was just gone. The one thing that never left? My love for her. Despite it all there wasn't anything I wouldn't do for the green eyed gem who once lived three houses down from me. I never expected to see her again truthfully, but if I've learned anything it's that life sometimes brings you unexpected surprises. Only this surprise came in the form of a girl I had given many years of my teenage self to, only this time she wasn't battling with her emotions, but for her life.
