You were always together, like brothers in everything but blood. Then Tortus came, and that damned labyrinth. He wanted to stay back and cover your retreat, but you said it was a job for two.
He transmuted the floor, a wall the behemoth crashed against before you ripped its guts open with your Vollund. Then you saw Hiyama, that son of a bitch, aiming a fireball against him while he was distracted. You quickly rushed, pushing him out the way, being hit instead.
He swore he would save you, he swore he would become strong to return the favour.
You were his right hand man, it was only fair for him to become yours.
