The World Called Aris

My own version of a story of alice in wonderland with a touch of fantasy & mystery.
some of it is based on alice in the country of hearts manga/visual novel or heart no kuni no alice.

The female main character is going through the loss of both her grandparents, over the grief & pain someone hears her crying & wishes to save her from this terrible world, he takes her to a portal where she is stuck in a land called Aris, named after all the previous Alice's that have gone there before, she finds out the word "Alice" is given to people who come from the real world into this world, and in the past there were so many of them that the people who lived there started to massacre them to extinction, she is the first in many hundreds of years. She wants to escape but the man makes her drink a liquid so she can't leave, if she does, the drug will kill her, but so can the people living there, she seems lost but makes friends along the way who help her.
