Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. But now, after so long, after almost letting it all go every morning and night, how was he supposed to pick himself back up and just forget? He's been just as gone as Ash was. Now Ash is there, helping pull him together again, with lots and lots of love.

They figure out his name was Josh and that he was kidnapped by those men. He got away only after they r@ped him. Upon meeting this broken and traumatized child, Ash feels moved to help Josh and other kids like him.
