Sixteen-year-old Jessica Jane Willens blocks off the world around her with a well-built wall that hides her stubborn, sarcastic, emotion-filled personality. The wall lacks any holes and simply reveals a surface facade of quietness. All she wants is to stay hidden in the backgrounds as she had been her entire life. But one event leads to another and her life takes a hundred-and-eighty degree turn. Whether it's for the better or the worse. But is all it takes four half-brothers, three friends, a few rules, and one boyfriend to push her over the ledge? For the wall to go tumbling down and expose the jumble underneath? And maybe that beneath won't be half as bad as Jessica expected. A first-person-story in which you follow Jessica on her journey and you start to wonder, is she really Fragile? ✩ → 2nd place in End of An Era Awards humor → 1st place in The Carnival Awards 2021 humor → #6 in Teen Fiction 03/01/2021

❝We are never going to be family.❞ • • • Three half-siblings, living in different situations, with enough hate to kill each other. By some joke of the universe, they find themselves in the same city. Meeting again under shitty circumstances, with a lot of shitty issues, they get themselves into more trouble than they are ready for. What happens when everything goes to hell in one single night and they run into each other on the corner of sixth street at half-past three? Well, gasoline never did go well with a raging fire, but they never did care if the world burned. ▫▫▫▫ ▫▫▫▫ ▫▫▫▫ Cover is made by me.
