This story is about a girl.

She's not normal.

Well, she is but she's different.

Weird name but people guess it makes sense since there's three of them.

One of the boys has a little brother, who is also different.

The lead singer and the sort-of-normal girl run into each other at the hospital.

Family Care Hospital.

The hospital she lives at.

That's also where his little brother is treated.

"So what are you in here for?"

I had always avoided that question every time I met someone in this hospital. I didn't want anybody pitying me. I'm tired of all the apologizing when they didn't even do anything.

"My sister has breast cancer." I lied.

I barely knew what breast cancer was.

I didn't even know half of the stuff about my cancer.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Yeah," I whispered.

The sounds of Troy playing with the fake stove filled in our silence.

"So what do you do outside of looking out for your brother?"

He coughed. Then he started rubbing the back of his neck like he was nervous.

Why?

"Um not that much. My family's kind of poor so can't do anything but work to get money for his treatments," Parker replied, nodding his head at Troy.
