College junior Faith Sommers is all about processes--a series of steps followed (sometimes often repeated) in order to yield a certain result. As an aspiring astronaut, the founder of her own tech company, and a full-time engineering student, procedures are absolutely crucial for success. And it works for just about everything she sets her mind to--except for anything related to relationships and love, the subjects in which she has failed twice already.
But that was before the term "meet-cute" took one too many turns when she encountered fellow third year Aidan Lim--by chance, through mutual friends, and to her dismay--by teamwork.
The idea of building, assembling, and operating a robot together for the annual Wayfinder Tech Competition provides the perfect final design for sparks to fly after Aidan proposes a fake dating plan to combat Faith's skepticism about love.
