Izuku runs away from Inko and Toshinori because of their abusive nature. They constantly forgot about him and put down his dreams. One day he discovers he was not in fact quirkless, yet they called him delusional and left it at that. After finally running away, he moves in with Mei Hatume, becoming her pseudo-brother, and goes to UA in spite of his past mis-comings.
