A string of demonic screeches filled the air, this time closer, and - God forbid - sounded like it came from more than just one beast. Ty and Tobias shared a look of terror and quickly knelt by the small, covered opening as they raced and fumbled around for the grip. Definitely better down there than staying up here with Brutus and his new friends. 'Here! Get the other side!' Tobias shouted; his knuckles white as he dug his fingers beneath one side of the covering. Ty quickly went for the other as instructed. The plate was rusted to the edge where the lip was touched, making it difficult to lift. But they forced it, hissing through their teeth with exertion until the plate was finally pried open. Ty was about to tell Tobias to go through first when he heard it. A low growl, almost indistinguishable above the sound of the waterfall. It was enough to make him stop and look across into the distance. Under the moonlight, blackness was the only thing he could make out that painted over the buildings and paved streets. For a second, Ty thought he had imagined it. But then he saw them, half-obscured in the darkness. Black shiny fish eggs eyes that gleamed in the shadows. Crap. ________________________________ The day Tyfell Calum broke out of prison, was the day he suddenly found himself being hunted down. Through destruction and pandemonium, he had to leave his life behind in order to escape the summoners and demons hot on his trail. So who are these people hunting him down and why? He wasn't sure, but he had a feeling it had something to do with how he had rewinded time by accident. In this new world Ty suddenly found himself thrown in, he is faced with bloodthirsty demons, new enemies and so many magical powers beyond his imagination. Before he can find answers, Ty must get ready to fight and protect the ones he loves. And with his new powers, maybe it might not be so hard after all. Copyright © 2021 All rights reserved.

The only thing more dangerous than a god is a god trying to be good. Elijah Vance is the perfect hero Vought never wanted. Resurrected with the divine power of the Primarch, he is the Sentinel-a figure of impossible strength and perfect moral clarity, capable of facing Homelander and winning. But perfection is a lie. Elijah is cursed by the Red Thirst, a hidden, savage rage that threatens to consume his soul with every act of violence. He is locked in a war against Vought, Homelander's tyranny, anìd the monster inside his own mind. To fight a shadow war, he needs shadows. He forms a volatile, uneasy alliance with Billy Butcher and the remaining outcasts: the cynical, broken Queen Maeve, and the defiant, shining Starlight. Their mission is clear: expose Vought's crimes, dismantle the V-supply chain, and rescue the most dangerous secret of all-Ryan, Homelander's innocent son. Butcher wants to use the boy. Elijah vows to save him, making a desperate covenant: the Angel and the Butcher will personally train the child to be the only supe worthy of the name. The pressure is crushing, and the inevitable confrontation with Homelander looms. Elijah's only defense against the looming darkness is an impossible, messy truth: the fierce, grounding love of Maeve and the pure, guiding light of Annie. They are the anchors that keep the god human, and the women who fight to save his soul-and each other-in a world that demands their destruction. Can a god choose to be good when his nature screams for blood, or will the Triumvirate of the Soul shatter under the weight of the world?
