The Right Kind of Attention

Fukunaga hates it. He's always been pretty easygoing and doesn't mind going with the flow even if it pushes his own needs aside, but finally realizing he has a crush on his girl-crazed best friend who doesn't even see him as dating material is a new kind of hard and he's had enough. He wishes he could just catch Tora's attention somehow, to actually be seen for once and for things to go his way rather than everyone else's. College just started, new school and new classes. New environment and plenty of anxious sleepless nights with nothing but his thoughts to drive him insane. He hates that he's been reduced to pining and he can't even say he enjoys having a crush. In fact, he wishes he didn't.

It's time for a change and with it, a new look. Or rather, an old look that suits him better with a little unexpected help along the way. When a monster that lurks in the dark offers to help him after hearing his plight, who's he to say no? Maybe a little craziness and a distraction is just what he needs.
