This Dmc fanfic is dedicated to all fellow dmc fanfic writers out there! I want to thank you all for making such awesome stories about Dante and the Dmc characters, and the best way to thank was to well, just write another fanfic! (oh, the irony!)

Living with Dante would seem easy at first thought. After all, all he did was eat pizzas, turn down lousy calls with no password, and bicker with a ten-year old Patty Lowell. But it turns out, living with him is like hell itself. Maybe if you were just a stranger, looking for a job at Devil May Cry, or simply a place to stay, then living with Dante wouldn't seem so bad.
But how bad would it be, if you were someone from another world, with the same face? How would it be if you were tortured by Devil May Cry fans, and forced to cosplay into Dante's twin, and end up being mistaken to be Vergil -by Dante himself? How would things turns out, if you were stuck in another parallel world, as Vergil, while you killed demons when all you have done before this was... drink and have fun?

This is a sequel to The Best Devilish Mistake {Dmc Fanfiction}. It had already been five years since Vergil left his world of Limbo. It has been five years since he left to find his lover, and lived with her. It has been five years since he saw his brother. But now Leah and Vergil are on the way back home on a new mission together -to free their father Sparda from his prison. Their mother, an angel cursed to never see her demon husband again until he is freed, works once more with Leah's ex-guardian angel Azazel, on an order to oppose the Demon King Mundus and free Sparda once and for all. With the power of all three children of Sparda, freeing Sparda would finally happen. Except that Dante isn't around anymore. He has disappeared -in search of someone. Someone special who has entered his life and suddenly taken all of his mind. Someone who disappeared as well in search to free Sparda. Someone, who might just very well be Dante's Angel.

Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.

In addition to the sudden attack of an extraordinary big demon's horde, which may suggest unrests in the demon world, Dante, and especially Nero, have to experience the true meaning of the Devil Bringer, and also its consequences. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. And I'm also the owner of the many side and minor background characters that may or may not get names.
