Doctor Who Future is set several regenerations after the current Doctor.
The stories featured in Doctor Who Future are as close to canon as possible.
They are styled like classic who meaning they have a certain number of episodes in a story.
After the dramatic reveals in the series 3 finale "Rebellion of the Daleks", the Tardis Team are back with some more adventures.
From Khan to the Sense Sphere they continue to travel through the universe, defeating foes and stopping evil.
Inevitability, the Doctor past is catching up with him but more importantly, so is his Future.
The end is near, or is it the beginning.

Doctor Who: The Thirteen Doctors
One of the greatest and most cinematic adventures in Doctor Who history sees the team up of every single Doctor in preventing the collapse of time and space after a devastating attack within Gallifrey threatens the existence of reality as we know it, and beyond. Doctor's Daughter
The doctor had a little girl but didn't want to risk her life by looking after her in the TARDIS. He went to earth 2004 and placed her carefully in a basket with blankets, two notes and something no one has ever been able to explain.
