Chara only wanted you to do genocide but, whenever you did, you reset out of guilt. At the 5641st reset, you stopped doing genocide altogether. After 432 more, Chara decided that this was the last straw. Chara, using all of her built-up DETERMINATION, managed to come back to life. But this shattered your soul leaving you lifeless on the ground. The monsters wouldn't have this and gave all of their souls to you, reviving you and filling you with DETERMINATION...

"Psychotic tendencies..." As a child, Y/n L/n had a good life. She was always complimented for her h/c hair and e/c eyes. She had a loving little sister and a caring mom and good friends. So, if she had the perfect life, why did she throw herself into Mt. Ebott? When Y/n awoke in the Underground she immediately noticed how much nicer the monster's are. They all brought a smile to her face and she felt at home. Toriel was always a mom to her, Sans and Papyrus were brother's, and Frisk was her best friend. She couldn't have ever wanted more. So, why did she kill all of them? Her and Chara had killed everyone more times than countable together. Chara was happy they found someone they could connect with, and Y/n was happy someone accepted the fact that she was a killer. They got along perfectly, the best of friends! She experimented with killing certain characters doing different things. Then, as (Y/N) started a new game, she felt a falling sensation, as if she just fell out of her chair. She blacked out soon after. When she woke up, she was lying on a bed of golden flowers. She knew this place. (Y/N) was in the game. Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it. Anywho, I strongly suggest you read the fancomic which this fanfiction is based off of, DeeperDown, before reading my story. Determination ~ The Souls
The monster family are growing closer, and everything is starting to get better. Until it all seems to fall apart again. Chara's past is revealed and the monsters and Frisk have to try to help her through it, however it seems that the other two kids in the family might be in need of help too. This is the third book in the DETERMINATION series (probably the last). Please read the first book which is called Determination- An Undertale Fan-Fic and then the second book called Determination ~ Family before you read this as some things will not really make sense. I do NOT own Undertale but I do own this plot/story. Some of the characters are mine, I assume that you will know who is from the game and who is not.
