About a year ago, I was assigned to write a short story for my english class. The story had to be a satire of a popular fairytale and it had to have some kind of current issue. I chose to do Cinderella, and I decided to make her transgender. (my current issue was transphobia)
I am not trans so please let me know if I need to fix anything!

Rose Dursley: The Girl Who Lived
Harry Potter, the boy who lived. The most famous boy in the wizarding world has to be hidden. After his parents are killed, Dumbledore has to make sure Harry is never found by Voldemort. So he uses powerful magic to transform Harry into a girl. Now called Rose, she is brought up by her aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. Dumbledore also changes their memories so they believe that Rose is their own daughter. As she grows up, Rose learns nothing about the wizarding world, or her true identity. That is until she turns 11, and a letter arrives to invite her to Hogwarts. As Rose gets older, she learns all about magic, but she also learns more about her own feelings and starts to question her identity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A/N. So I had the idea of writing a version of the story where Harry was born a girl, but there are loads like that already, so I thought I would try instead doing a kind of LGBTQ+ version where he is transformed and then has to deal with experiencing this difference of gender identity. But I'm not very knowledgeable about all the gender identity stuff, so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong, and please feel free to message me so I can try and fix it. Also, trigger warning; the story gets a bit dark after he comes out as trans male. He has to deal with the conflict from other characters that don't accept his identity at first. So some of the mean ones are transphobic and misgendering etc. But I'm going to let you know now that there will be a happy ending eventually, so hopefully it won't be too hard to get through the difficult parts.Completa
Cinderella Can't be a Guy
Thomas should live in a time and age where people don't care about sexuality or gender identification but that isn't true as his mother refuses to think of him as anything other than her son and Thomas. To the people important in his life, Thomas is actually Ginger and a female. She's almost done with high school and ready to get out from under her oppressive mother's thumb and live the rest of her life how she wants to. This is a story I wrote for creative writing class. I wasn't intending to publish it so I didn't think much about the title. I did take the original title of A Glass Slipper by Jackson Terrance. I really loved this title and I was sad when they changed it.Completa

Months after 23-year-old Trans girl Emily reunites with her childhood friend Naomi, the two of them begin the university year. Till now, Emily's trans identity and relationship with Naomi was mostly a secret. Emily initially finds herself acting differently for approval, wanting to be like the girls around her. She never got to publically be a school girl till now, Emily aims to get that experience she missed out on, but in her own way. Despite her fears, she must confront her past, the present and think of who she wants to be in her future. To be the Glass Princess she would see in the mirror since she was a child. Emily does her best to heal and learn to be true to herself Trigger warnings: A new character introduced nearly says a transphobic slur near the end of the story but is interrupted before they can say it.Completa
