This is a similar book to Dear Dean, that I wrote but instead of a college base it's a high school love. Dean goes through some life changing decisions and Castiel helps him through it. Dean is beginning to transition to a girl, and even though Castiel is into men, he loves Dean and wants to stay with Dean he stands by every decision for the girl he loves, and discovers new set feelings.
