Nightmare and his gang knows about Killer's crush but doesn't think that Killer can get in the relationship because the Star Sanses are their enemies. But a little spy name Swap who is working for Nightmare in this Multiverse, tells Nightmare that he saw Killer with Dream in Dreamtale and Nightmare goes to take a look at this for himself.

When Ink is exploring the au's, he stumbles upon a new au where he meets a new friend named Nightmare. The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. One day Nightmare had enough of the villagers and ate the apple of negativity and leaves Dreamtale empty. When Ink comes to visit Nightmare, he sees that everyone is disappeared, and so did Nightmare. Not mention Dreams new and unusual behaviour towards Ink.
