Zayn Malik and Harry Styles are Kauai's top 2 surfers, who met on the waves. They became friends when they met 10 years ago, they were 8 back then. Harry developed feelings for Zayn, and with the fear of rejection weighing in his mind he chooses to keep these feelings hidden. At regionals, with Zayn in blue in 2nd place and Harry in black in 1st, Harry goes for a 40ft wave and wipes out. Or that's what everyone thought. But the coast drones watching the competition from above catch what really happens, and Zayn races to get Harry out of the water, before the shark gets another bite. After the terrifying experience, Zayn realizes his feelings towards Harry as he's laying in the hospital bed, fighting death. -------------------------- This story is based off of the movie, book, and true story; "Soul Surfer" and mostly focuses on challenges the boys face after the attack rather than the attack itself. [ COMPLETED ] "Blue." I heard a deep raspy voice that came close as I was sitting alone scanning through my laptop inside this local cafe on the island. I pulled my head up to check who it could be and saw a tall man with a long brown tousled hair, topless, tattoos almost everywhere on his body and had a blue green board shorts. He had the most perfect curls that a man can have and it makes me wonder what's his shampoo or does he even put conditioner after. I envied his long luscious locks which was slightly past his shoulders. His eyes, glued on mine, were an amazing hue of emerald green as he flashes me his dimpled smile. I looked over my shoulder and found no one there so he must be talking to me. I look back at this man who is still smiling at me. "Excuse me?" I chimed, confused about what he meant. "Blue."
