The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different. This time, even the humans are in danger. ❤️❤️ Updates: When I can ahh❤️❤️ ⚠️ Mild fear/ violence warning --- This is the third part to this little trilogy :) I would recommend reading the other parts first if you can suffer through them. Tales of Wonder - Magic and Spirit Series
Short Story 1 Jack Kilver was the greatest adventurer in human history. Once he heard of a place that was so harsh that not even the terrible monsters outside the city dared not to go into it he knew he must be the first. He would accomplish the impossible Unfortunately, things never go as planned. Short Story 2 Things has been changing in the city ever since the new of Jack Kilver. Especially Emily's work, the company built by the woman who has moved humanity further in the future. She feels more devoted and passionate about her work. She just can't figure out why... Short Story 3 In a place where the trees block out all sunlight, there is a lonely building. Within this building, you'd find all manner of monsters and beasts. Sometimes, even monsters want to go where every one knows their name. Short Story 4 Lily lived a happy but simple life in her village, despite the war against the magical beasts of world still raging. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Tails of Alpherion
A story that focuses on the lives of several individuals who are dealing with various situations and challenges from life. As their stories unfold, their lives will intertwine and branch apart, leading them on journeys that will shape their futures. On top of that, there is the ever growing presence of an ominous group of magic users called the Umbrian Covenant. Their objective is seemingly to cause discord within the peace and prosperity of faunians. However, the coven's influence threatens to seep into society by breaking down the barrier that stands between them and Alpherion, which is Divinity. In this story, we follow the events surrounding our protagonist, Samantha Snowfield. As she begins her life journey within the city of Summerville as a Childcare Administrator for the Orphanage she grew up in, she begins to discover that the world around her isn't as black and white at it appeared in her youth. As she tries to navigate these events the best she knows how, she shares those moments with new friends and a potential love interest. Nothing is written in stone however, so securing a future in an unpredictable world can be challenging. Hopefully, with the right guidance and heroes to save the day, the future will be a bright one.
The Goliath
Inspired by a current Dungeons and Dragons campaign I'm a part of. This story takes place just before the campaign begins, providing a brief backstory for my character, T'orgir (pronounced as Tore-Gear). The short story takes place on a continent named Andor, Where Dreams Unfold. Step into Andor, a realm of boundless wonder. Its soaring mountains kiss the sky, their snow-capped peaks a testament to its majestic beauty. Valleys sprawl beneath, inviting you to wander through lush landscapes painted with the whispers of ancient tales. The skies above are alive with the hues of dawn and dusk, clouds dancing in harmonious rhythm. As you venture through its forests, nature's symphony serenades you, and rivers flow like veins of liquid silver. In the heart of this world, ruins stand as silent witnesses to forgotten epochs. Villages hum with life, their stories echoing in every corner. Magic weaves through the air, casting an enchanting glow on your path. Andor beckons you to embrace its mysteries, where destinies entwine, friendships ignite, and the uncharted holds the promise of extraordinary journeys.
