This doesn't take place during any of the movies, just because there are a few with different storylines and such so I'm going to avoid the Strode's and such. However I'll include Loomis (because he was great).

I wrote one of these a long time ago (it's gone now), but now I'm gonna write another one.

Moving to Haddonfield was difficult for (Y/n). Her father was an angry man, recovering from his wife's suicide. (Y/n) got the end of his rage, but was only trying to focus on school. She was a 23 year old college student, living at home due to her father keeping her from leaving by holding onto her paychecks, only giving her a few of her paychecks a month, even if she's made more. If she couldn't pay, she couldn't leave, and her father didn't buy anything for her.

She wasn't expecting to meet the infamous Micheal Myers, but she also wasn't expecting to go to that Halloween party. When she had heard about the killer, she figured he would've left the town, not run back to it. Maybe it wouldn't have bothered her as much, if she wasn't living across from his old house.
