Link had defeated the calamity and brought peace, but was gravely injured as a last request he asked the friends he made throughout his journey to come around and share his final moments, but how come he tells them to not trust the one person he tried to rescue from evils clutches?

He should've been angry. He had every right to be, but instead he felt an eerie calmness wash over him, like some part of him had always known this was coming. So what if he was dying? He'd already died once before, and now the land was at peace. He was okay with it. He lived freely, and he would pass on with no regrets. Fi was dying with him, so he wouldn't be alone either. After Zelda goes poof and Link now owns a dead guy's arm, the hero begins to reevaluate everything in his life. Things like gifting his Hateno house entirely to Zelda, never leaving her side even if it'd be good for both of them, and standing by while his past flame, Sidon is to be married to a woman he's not even attracted to. Something's gotta give, and it's time Link put his own needs first for once.Complete
