Ameriella Jones is a self-sufficient certified Nutritionist with a poise and hard working attitude. She loves helping people, especially children and does everything she can to brighten someone elses day. Ameriella just got a new job working as the food coordinator at an elementary school.

Shayla, an underfed eight year old girl, arrives to school hungry and leaves even hungrier. She's literally walking starvation. Shayla's mother spends money on everything but food and her daughter suffers from the lack of parenting. Social workers have gone to the house several times but they see a few empty cereal boxes and stale bread in the kitchen and assume that everything is alright.

Ameriella takes it upon herself to investigate the situation. There's no reason why Shayla should be thinner than the paper she writes on. In the process of helping out the mistreated child, Ameriella is introduced to Shayla's father, Devonte.

In the mist of talking about Shayla all the time they both notice how attracted they are to each other. Devonte really loves how much Ameriella cares for Shayla and that makes him even more attracted to her. What will happen if the two just so happened to tell each other how much they're feeling each other?
