(I recommend reading Floating in the Abyss before reading this but you could probably manage without it {but I really, really suggest you read it ;)  })

Ashlyn is facing the many struggles of anxiety after years of childhood trauma. Alongside the help of her family, Ash is able to start back at high school, with her brothers, after missing nearly a year, due to mental health and physical well-being. 

School brings about many new struggles but also new opportunities. From bullying to a discovery of romance, Ash is guided by her friends and family to navigate her way through this new lifestyle. 

Losing yourself isn't easy, especially when there's someone else to blame. Those close to you really become the most valuable in these times.

A story of two brothers who have nothing in life but each other. The story is told through the main character, Joel, as he recalls events from his childhood and how he and his brother, Blake, escaped the nightmare of their Mother's drug fuelled abuse. After escaping their abusive home and life of neglect Blake takes on the role of a parent and supports his younger brother through High School but as Joel tries to keep moving forward his past begins to hold him back. As Joel loses focus on his future he resorts to deceitful and aggressive behaviour that begins to put a strain on the brothers close relationship.
