Please note that this book can not be read alone it it part of a series. Please go back and read the first one then the second book as there will be terms and events rendered to from the first book. And also to enjoy your reading experience and not get confused.

3 YEARS LATER 

"Brooklyn you ready to go?" Max asked the blonde hair girl. She turned around and saw him walking up to her, her skin pale and her eyes a dull grey colour, her hair an ashy platinum blonde. 

"Almost" she repiled looking back down at the gave in front of her. Max silently stood behind her, "don't worry my friend rest for now. I'll take care if things from here. They got their revenge now it's time I help avenge you" she said. 

She kneeled down and kissed her palm before placing it on the headstone. She looked up at the sky taking in the cool breeze. 

Her hair whipped back by the wind, the thin knee length sundress she wore was perfect for the weather. She stood up again and dusted her hands, "Come on Max let's leave nature to take its course" she said and talked away.

As she walked away the name on the headstone was reviled.

"Miss you Bay really wish you were around and things were normal. But it know you need time to rest and I admire you for that. Don't worry Brooklyn got this, she's going to make  everything right" he said. 

He gave the headstone a pat as if to say hang in there. He turned and followed Brooklyn who was already in the car waiting. He got in and put his seat belt on. 

"So what now?" He asked her, "like I said we let nature run her course" she said leaning her head against the window. "Come on get me home I have school on Monday and I'm staving right now" she joked. 

"Yes ma'am" he said pulling out from the parking. Austin Baker I'll never forget you or your name, I'm coming after you for what you did to my family, Brooklyn  thought to herself.

I know Aiden is right, but I can't kill Felix, even if he keeps trying to kill me. I shake my head and sit back down. Just because everyone else was leaving didn't mean I had to also. Maybe I can talk some sense into him. I sigh. I've tried to already, but maybe this time it will be different. Maybe I should tell him the truth. Maybe I should tell him Nadia is his daughter. The door to my planning room is thrown open but I stay seated. I look up as men flood into the room, soon followed by Felix. His emotionless eyes find mine and he cocks his gun. "You should have run with the others."

He pulled away from me, grabbing his phone off the nightstand only for me to get a glance that it had been Xander calling. He placed the phone up to his ear, rubbing his face in his hands. "What is it?" I asked in concern, watching Pierce's expression change from annoyance to worry as Xander spoke through the phone. I waited for Pierce to say something but he didn't before hanging up and grabbing my leather jacket off the chair that was nearby, throwing it over to me. "We need to go. NOW." Pierce stated, his voice demanding and cold as he reached for his keys and walked out of the apartment. I sat on the bed, clutching my jacket in my hands as I stared ahead at the ground, swallowing a lump in my throat. Can I just catch a break for once?
