However, they know Percy is not well and will do anything to help him. This story deals with heavy topics and Percy does not just get over them within the first few chapters and skips happily into the sunset with the Avengers. This deals with pain and hardships. This can be very cliche at first. But please read at least ten chapters before deciding. It gets better as it goes, just like any book. Leo is only gone for a week before he returns with Calypso. Percy and Annabeth are 17 as of the end of the Second Giant War. Avengers timeline is far less accurate: Civil War doesn't happen. Peter Parker is currently 17 and is just starting to work with the Avengers. S.H.I.E.L.D. is still operational under Director Fury. Wanda is not in this story. Wakanda has yet to be uncovered. Loki does not appear in this story but has been forgiven for his attack on Earth upon discovering he was mind-controlled. The Stark Tower is under reconstruction to become the Avengers Tower.
