Leila Mercer was an honorary member of Sunset Curve however unlike her twin, Alex, dancing called to her more than being in a band. She dreamed of one day joining them on stage, however, once they finally get their big gig at The Orpheum only to die that very same night, Leila never thought she'd be able to join them on stage again. After their deaths, she became a shell of the person she was, losing her best friend, her brother, and the love of her life in one night had destroyed her mind, and her body followed when she began to get sick.

As if by fate, she died a year later on the anniversary of their deaths. However when she came back as a ghost, she was not reunited with the band. Instead, she was alone in a new world. 

Years later the boys return as ghosts, and Leila finally gets her second chance at life and love.
