Things where finally settling down after the giant war. Life was resuming it's semi-peaceful routine, at least, until Alissa's dad showed up at camp. As if things weren't stressful enough, her best friend Sage goes missing while out retrieving a new demigod. To escape her annoying father, she takes on the task of finding her friend in the place he was sent to retrieve the demigod. Gotham City. How will Alissa react when she meets the city's famous Batfam? Nico finally gets out of that weird hotel, only for everything to be different. There are a lot more lights, and everyone is staring at this tiny screen, and the weird lawyer lady is watching him now. His dad visits sometimes, but not enough. His sister is growing distant, which makes sense, she had her own life. It still hurt sometimes though. Then things start to change. He meets the Waynes, for one. Gotham is a big scary place, when he's allowed out into it, but they're nice. And their dad is funny. A lot funnier than his dad.(Don't tell Hades he said that. Ms. Alecto keeps saying he'd smite Nico. Nico didn't believe it, but still.) So yeah. Gotham is fine. His life is... nice. Even when the lights flicker because Bianca is yelling at him, then Ms. Alecto gets mad at her for not controlling her emotions. Even when he's allowed to go outside and he sees ghosts.
