The Legend of Zelda: The Dark Agenda
Far in the future, Link and Ganondorf battle in broken world, a fusion of the 'child' and 'adult' timelines. Hyrule is ravaged and all inhabitants, even Ganon's minions, have abandoned their homes due to fear of Link and Ganon's conflict. A Demigod takes advantage of their weakened states and places power inhibitors on their necks, forcing Link and Ganon to work together. This is an old fanfic from 2014. Keep in mind that this is not written as a thoroughly as novel, so this story does not have detailed descriptions of environments or senses. This is written as a plot synopsis/script for a video game premise. I have written this plot in such a way that it can easily fit into the far future of any Zelda timeline. Because the plot I have written can fit into any JRPG video game, I acquired a copyright by swapping out all of Zelda's characters, places and terms with other names. However, the Demigod (his personality and goals) is my creation as well (ergo, also under the copyright) since he is a character that is from one of my novels. I know that my plot would essentially be a Zelda rip-off as it is, so I would not sell it on that basis. I have a copyright on the plot just in case, so no one can just randomly try to steal it without giving me proper compensation.)Complete
The Tragedy of Ganondorf: The Burden of the King
Was Ganondorf truly the evil, power-hungry King we have heard of him to be? Were Link and Princess Zelda truly destined to destroy him for the salvation of Hyrule? I don't think so. Let's assume that the general track of the story holds, and that some historical events did actually happen: when Link was a child Hyrule 'seemed' to be in great shape. In 7 years after Ganondorf supposedly burst onto the scene and messed things up, some set of events happened that led to the collapse of Castle Town and the Royal Family, a much worse condition for the Kokiri, Gorons, and Zora, and devastation for the Gerudo as well. The last and most important assumption is that none of the characters we know of were any more or less selfish, power-hungry, or selfless than the average person in Hyrule, and that they actually embody all three of these characteristics and more at different times in the events described in LoZ: OoT This story is my attempt to write out the actual history of the events described in moral, legend-like terms from Ocarina of Time and how we came to know the Legend as it is today, rather than this recounting of the actual historical events and actions as they happened.Complete
