Rebekah Breegan is far more than your ordinary teenager. A drama queen to the fullest and full of exaggeration, her life cannot get any more eventful. Or can it?

What happens when old faces turn up in new places? But, it can't be just anyone, can it? Come on, where's the fun in that.

Excerpt

His voice is much deeper now but it still holds the softness
of laughter that had always been there for as long as I knew him. He stands in
front of me face turned to the sun with his eyes closed, hands deep in his
pockets. The sunlight envelopes his body and I have to squint to look at him.
He shrugs his shoulders and turns his body fully towards me. Looking me straight in the eye.
It's the first time we've seen each other in eight years. Neither of us are
smiling.

We study each other and that's how we stay for a few
minutes. His once platinum blond hair, so different to the burgundy tones of the
rest of his family, is stained with a deep brown, so dark it's almost black. I
think of the time he came crying to me at the beach house because his brother
had told him he was adopted because of his blond hair and he'd believed him.

He certainly doesn't look the same either. Puberty was way
too kind to him. A tower of nearly 6ft, his chest and upper body is clad in a
plain white shirt, paired with fitted black jeans and dirty boots. I spot his
satchel resting by the foot of my bed.

"You done checking me out?" he cocks his head to the side smiling deviously at me, his eyes twinkling with laughter.

My earliest memory is one that played over in my head regularly. At three years old I had only started to experience the soft warmth of a smile. From that moment on I never wanted anything else. It was one of the most impactful moments of my life. Until I grew up I didn't fully know how. I can't remember everything I've ever done, every mistake I ever made. I remember the people I hurt though. When I hurt them the most and how easily I broke someone I loved the most without realizing it. It never occurred to me what I was really missing or how giving myself so freely to the wrong people kept me from the right ones. I just wanted someone who felt like I felt. ... Michael only ever wanted to make people happy. To be liked. For the most part it was easy. With a happy childhood he gladly gave himself away and molded his life to fit everyone's expectations. A good boy who did as his mother told and followed where his father lead. Where his life went didn't matter. It was useless to him. All he cared about was pleasing those around him. Anything else in between was just to receive the small gesture of a smile from everyone he met. And so that childhood came and went at the mercy of others. As he grew older so did the thin tightrope he traversed. With his easy high school years coming to a close his life slowly unravels without him realizing. Pulled in every direction he's entangled in the expectations he once craved. Not sure which path to travel anymore it's only a matter of time before the strands finally snapped. He grasps desperately for the one thing he believed he needed, only to find what he truly desired is already out of his reach. {Prequel in the "Living To Exist" series}

[COMPLETE] Soz this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content.
