In the world of high school theatre politics, it's basically law that somebody gets overlooked. And unfortunately, Kiara, Heaven, Iris, and Sierra know the law all too well. When Heaven loses a writing competition, she finally decides she's had enough, and starts writing her new project: a play based off of her best friends' love lives. But what happens if there's no happy ending?

🌈AUTHOR'S NOTE: This book describes many personal experiences me and my friends have had both in theatre and with liking people haha. This came about because I was very frustrated with the lack of girly/dainty dark-skinned black female characters in the media I love + no one ever really talking about how hard it is to constantly deal with micro aggressions, and the way most people write these types of characters as people. I myself am mixed: I'm black & Filipino!
