"I don't have much time. Listen closely." the Umbri said. "Okay," Abilene said quietly as the voices neared. "Whatever you do, don't trust the Council." the Umbri casually. "The Council?" Abilene asked in confusion. "Why-" "Find out what happened during the most recent Darkest Night." the Umbri interrupted quickly. The voices were getting louder. "Darkest Night? What's-" Abilene started to ask in confusion. "You're mother's death...was an accident." the Umbri whispered quickly. Abilene froze and widened her eyes. "W-what?" Abilene whispered. "Remember those three things!" the Umbri hissed as the doorknob started jiggling. "Wait-" "Remember those three things Abilene. Remember your vision!" the Umbri whispered frantically as it made its way to the shadows of the cookroom. "Vision?" Abilene asked. Abilene widened her eyes in realization. The Umbri dove into the shadows and disappeared as the door swung open. Her mother was killed in a war. She was told it was on purpose...but what if it wasn't?
