Looking up, Leo zeroes in on the claw nearest his throat, curling around the edge of his chest plate and resting against the boy's chest. It is then that he realizes there is nothing in the world he can do to save his own life. 
      If the dragon prince decides to kill him, then it shall be.
Squeezing his eyes shut, Leo turns his head away from the dragon, his desperation melting away into a mix of terror and shock. He will die, and that will be the end. The look of disappointment in Cecil's eyes will be cemented. Leo will have lost his life to a dragon prince, simply because he was too cowardly to take a killing shot. 
      There is nothing he can do. Absolutely nothing. 
      Nothing but lie down and await death.

I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
