A girl named Demi was born with a non-beating heart. She is emotionless and could not feel any pain, physical or emotional. She was cursed, and because of this people treated her like a monster. No one would go near her and they would call her names such as monster, zombie, etc.

Demi lived with her mother named Vella Cotterell in the forsaken realm deep within the forests. One day, Demi's mother was killed by a demon and Demi survived. And that brought her in front of a church in Hage where she would meet Asta and Yuno. After 10 years, Demi is joining the magic knights along with Asta and Yuno. This is where her journey to find a cure and to find the man who killed her mother starts to escalate.
