The Uprising of Eden

Eden lives in the controlling country of Lisin, where she is at the top of the social hierarchy. Her life has always been parties, money, and politics. One would think that is the ideal life, but that's not the case for Eden. Instead she puts on a smile at all times in fear of what her father will do behind closed doors if she didn't. Her life is filled with dark, disturbing secrets that are slowly tearing Eden apart. She is finally spiraling after 17 years of constant pretending to be fine even though the bruises under her clothes say different. She cant wait to turn 18 so she can now marry and escape the hellhole she is living in.

When you turn 18 is Lisin you are required to marry. The government chooses who you marry, and Eden has come to terms with that fact. She will do anything to escape her father and if that means she has to marry a stranger, so be it. But when she realized her father, who happens to be a close acquaintance with the president, tampered with who she is chosen to marry, she begins to panic. What is she going to do? She cant be wrapped around her fathers finger anymore, she must escape somehow.

On her wedding day, Eden does the unbelievable, and then ends up in the capital where criminals are held. She finally accepts her fate that she is going to locked there forever for breaking Lisins rules, until a handsome "guard" gives her a feeling of hope. Will Eden finally be able to live her life without her abusive father breathing down her neck at all times? Will she be able to escape the politics, and cunning and lying people of Lisin? Will she be able to forget the horrible memories of her childhood that haunt her?
