Holden Cox is a cleftis, someone who doesn't have his own powers but steals them from others, someone who society wants to perish. He brings honour to his name, however, he does not steal powers. As a street rat, money and expensive jewellery are what he focuses on. He takes from the rich and keeps it for himself before selling it off to the black market, just wanting to pay his rent and live a somewhat normal life.
Yet, good things don't last forever. The faux peace was destroyed the moment he was caught by the FBI and taken into custody.
A deal was made, he now assists them though Holden has to admit, he doesn't do it willingly.
Slowly, he gets accustomed to his new life, he'd say that he even made a few friends. Slowly, but surely, things become peaceful, well, as peaceful as it could be. Slowly, he thought that he was where he belonged, that he was home.
When similar cases start to appear, ones that toy with Holden and his partner, Agent Parker, he thinks that he might not be on the right side after all.
