30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge
This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. (This is an old ass book that its here cause I simply don't have the heart to delete it. contains a lot of cringe so you are warned lol) Ages 18+ I DON'T WRITE STUFF I FIND OFFENSIVE OR SIMPLY WRONG. SO DON'T EXPECT ME TO BE YOUR SLAVE. °••° I do not own any character or series etc that appear. I do own every word I write so please respect, and do not copy the books I had worked so hard on. -I will make my original work. But I will keep working on this book, I love oneshots and I have too many ideas to put them on a single original book.- There are some chapters missing because I didn't liked how they turned out and I just deleted them. Beware of grammar my friend, English is not my main language. Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.Terminé
