Tris Prior is not the only Divergent Transfer into Dauntless. Candor-born Christian Armstrong has chosen to join Dauntless, separating himself from his family, while his younger brother, Bradley, chooses to join the Amity. Christian trains alongside Tris and Christina, Will and Al, Trying to keep a low profile with his Divergence. But when he learns Tris is one as well, and the warnings they both have received from Four and Twist, the two work together to hide their secret, a thing Candors do not have. Fighting against his born faction's principles to save his life, he ends up finding help and love with Twist, one of the workers at the Piercing Parlor. Can Christian protect his and Tris' secret?
