Illogies Un
A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.Complete

Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. 18 November, 2024 The 10K Nanowrimo i wish I woulda submitted when I was 14. Told in 4 parts, this is an unedited, first draft literary story bordering on poetic style prose. There are elements of psychological, general, teen, and horror. This isn't a cautionary tale, it's just a tale. Some that one can relate to. It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.Complete
