"Not everything stays the same. We all change. We all transform into something else in the end. Nothing stays the same for a very long time, the world is constantly changing, constantly testing all of us. The only thing we can do is adapt. Use our wits, our strengths, maybe even our weaknesses to overcome the many trials that sit ahead of us. Just brace yourselves and face whatever is to come."

Those were April Beattie told to herself every single day ( till she wrote it in her book ). From her young elementary days to where she landed herself into now. She knew that we all changed. It was evident in everything she sees, in everything that she is.

After all she's been through in her life, she'd gotten herself to exactly where she wants to be. Through every chapter, she shows us each lesson she's learned ever since the beginning.

She shows us the lessons of change and how we can keep up to it.
