Yes, I've gone that deep. I've delved into cliche so hard that I've reached the soulmates AUs. But in my defense, the only AU's I ever read were kinda crappy, so I thought, "let's make one of our own!" so here we are. You know the drill. When you turn 5, you start being able to communicate with your soulmate. Either person can start. From then on you can feel some of the emotions that they feel. When you find them, the bond isn't broken, but you get a small tattoo with the first letter of their name. When they die, the tattoo appears, but grey. If you stop being soulmates with someone, the bond is removed. No one is born without a match, but sometimes it takes a while to find yours.

Okay, so this is another soulmate AU. Surprise surprise. It's the soul string AU, where everyone has a magical string tied to their ring finger. The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about. Also a disclaimer: I got a little carried away sometimes and some of the stuff isn't that like kiribaku but there's moments there from the actual anime so you can skip if you want but I'd appreciate if you'd read it 😊Complete

Soulmates. The most talked about topic in the world. You can use a special pen to write on your arm. Whatever you write will appear on them. The ink is invisible to everyone, which makes it even harder to find your soulmate. The pen can change colours when the person writing is feeling a different emotion. Most colours have multiple meanings. The shade of the colour depends on how strong or light the emotion is, for example, if your soulmate is extremely angry, the writing will be dark red, when their slightly irritated, the writing would be a light/pastel red. You cannot write certain details to your soulmate, like your name, country, address, school, on your body. You CAN however, give them a nickname that only they can use. You may be wondering, how do you find your soulmate? Well, it's very luck based. You'll feel unnaturally drawn to the person. To finally find out if you're soulmates or not, you'll have to kiss. Once you kiss them, a beautiful bright light surrounds the both of you, binding your souls together for eternity. Kirishima is a bright and bubbly person who is rarely upset. When he IS upset, he doesn't write to his soulmate. Due to his... rough childhood, he never really wrote to his soulmate until the end of middle school. He constantly doodles on his skin but quickly wipes it away even though the ink is invisible and only he can see it. His soulmate, on the other hand, is a handful. Bakugou constantly writes to his soulmate about his problems. When he was a kid, he thought he didn't have a soulmate due to everyone else in his class talking to them as soon as they could write but his would never answer. Once his soulmate finally wrote to him for the first time, he was overly excited, though he wouldn't admit it out loud. When you meet your soulmate, a matching mark appears on your wrist. When your soulmate dies, it scars over. If you find a new soulmate, you get a new mark. Butters thought this to be lies. His mark keeps scarring over but being the same in the morning. It's not like he doesn't try to find the cause of this, but he's just given up. He's broken, he has no soulmate, or his soulmate just keeps dying and raising from the dead, but that would just be silly.
