How does a smart, easygoing serial monogamist tame a closet Bohemian?

Adam Taylor believes selling his childhood home is the only way to put the past...and the memories behind him. Then he meets Joy Pettigrew. The uptight real estate broker isn't what she seems.

Freaky and Joy Pettigrew no longer mix. She's a corporate girl now. She plans to make the sale, get the commission, and never look back. So how does she keep the truth from Adam Taylor long enough to get him to sign on the dotted line? He swears he wants to sell his grandfather's house and move on. She knows he's lying to himself. He insists she throw off the façade she's hiding behind. She knows she's lying to herself. She also knows he's going back to Houston. Nothing she does will change his mind...and even their shared passion won't convince her to go with him.

She's already home. After all, Christmas is just around the corner and everyone knows you spend Christmas at home.

Zoey Gunner never visits Pine Falls, Colorado, her mother's mysterious hometown. Besides, she needs some distance from a set of lovingly overbearing brothers. A chance to prove her independence. But when an unclear flyer lands Zoey and her balls of yarn in the middle of a motorcycle club's bar, she becomes tangled with the residents of Pine Falls. One handsome biker in particular seems hell bent on tying her up in knots. Warner Jameson wants Zoey. She smells like the perfect mate with a side of maple syrup and her laughter is the sweetest sound he's ever heard. When the woman appears in the Dark Moon Riders' bar toting a bag of crafts and showing no fear toward the mass of intimidating bikers, it's all Warner can do to keep from kneeling at her feet. The problem is, not only is Zoey an out-of-towner, she's human. And he's...not. Unwilling to let his supernatural secret ruin his happiness, Warner decides to show Zoey just how lovable a monster can be. It helps that she needs rescuing a time or two. But what start out as unlucky accidents, soon become clear actions of sabotage against the woman he's falling for. Someone in Pine Falls doesn't want Zoey sticking around. Asking her to stay is dangerous but leaving means a broken heart... *Note: this story has not been professionally edited. Sorry for any typos!

Breathing seemed like a luxury now and my legs wanted to give out and let me collapse. Almost there. We were so close. So close. I fell, completely spent. Axel glanced over his shoulder and screeched to a halt, sprinting back over. I could see the worry in his eyes. I could faintly hear him calling my name. My body was throbbing as I gazed with glazed eyes at the street tiles. The last thing I saw before my vision turned dark was dirty blonde hair and a pair of sky blue eyes. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Updates every Saturday

Book Two of Five in the New Beginnings Series. **You do NOT have to read Inhale, Exhale, & Breathe to enjoy these stories** SALEM LUNA: Does anyone ever feel like they're riding a mechanical bull that is never ending? No matter how many times you get thrown off the thing, you appear right back on it? No? Just me then? See, I have this best friend. Former. Best. Friend. It's taking my brain a while to get used to it. Whatever. I'm hopelessly in love with him, and I tried desperately to admit my feelings out loud. So, I did. Raven Fox told me not to love him, and the look he seared into my skin when he said it was now branded into my brain. Now we're on the university book club Christmas retreat. Who did I get roomed with? Raven because of course I was given the bird. The damn bird that didn't love me in return. Which would have been fine had he not looked like the idea disgusted him. Six months have gone by since that day, and our tension is growing with more animosity each second. Now, we're doing activities together, and Christmas is my favorite holiday. He's not screwing this up for me. After a snowstorm starts hitting, though, I end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, out of gas in my snowmobile. I'm terrified as the wind starts picking up and snow starts whipping my face. I thought he wasn't listening. That he didn't care. So, why did he become the one to save me? Why does he look so distraught? His words say one thing, but his eyes are telling me his words are lies. Raven is lying to me. He loves me. But he doesn't want me to love him. All I want to know is why because I can't breathe without him anymore.

Our Forsaken Chrimbo

18 parts Complete

Just like every other Chrimbo, I was forsaken unless you call that one dreadful phone call from my mother asking me to come home as a formality. +++ I live a simple independent life, where I'm the CFO of Prientice Empire, have a few amazing friends and live in a luxurious apartment. I've everything I want except for my parents love. As the CFO of the most prominent business, I spend most of my time with my boss, who doesn't know anything but work, yet I've a hots for him since the day I first saw him. And spending so much time with him doesn't help with my feelings. No matter how ignorant or rude he will become, his handsome face, the velvet voice and Greek god like body won't let me think a sour thing about him. Sometimes I even think that I'm in love with him... Anyways, back to my boring and lonely Christmas. Just like every other year, I spend my holidays in my apartment looking down at the city that never sleeps while sipping coffee or hot chocolate with marshmallows. Just like every other year my mother does tells me to come home, but she doesn't insist when I deny. I just give her what she wants and that is to leave her and her family alone, which doesn't count me. This year, I did something I never had the guts for. I, Aurora Minnette made a deal with The Christian Prientice for this Christmastide. It was almost like he made a deal with the devil but the with the female version, that is me.
